Cookie Policy

1. Purpose and scope

You are informed that, during your visits to our website, cookies may be installed on your equipment (desktop or laptop computer, tablet or smartphone).

As such, this policy aims to provide you with essential information about how we use these cookies, the purposes for which we use them, and to inform you of your rights in this regard.

2. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that are stored and/or read on a user's device when visiting a website or using any mobile application, and are used by that site to send information to the browser software.

Throughout its validity period, a cookie allows its issuer to recognize the terminal each time it accesses content containing cookies from the same issuer.

3. Purposes of the cookies used

The cookies we use can be grouped into three categories:

  1. essential or technical cookies;
  2. audience measurement cookies;
  3. advertising cookies.

1. Essential or technical cookies

Essential or technical cookies are cookies whose sole purpose is to enable or facilitate communication by electronic means, or those strictly necessary for the provision of an online communication service at the express request of the user.

These cookies allow in particular:

  • To retain the choice expressed by the user regarding the storage of trackers;
  • To authenticate oneself with a service;
  • To adapt the site's presentation to the display preferences of the terminal;
  • To remember information relating to the contents of a shopping cart, or to forms that the user has filled out on the site;
  • To offer the user access to their account.

2. Audience measurement cookies

Audience measurement cookies are used to obtain information about the user's browsing (examples of purposes: performance measurement, detection of browsing problems, optimization of technical performance or ergonomics, estimation of the power of servers needed, analysis of content viewed, etc.).

3. Advertising cookies

So-called advertising cookies are linked to targeted advertising, that is, the observation of users' browsing habits, allowing the creation of a specific profile to show advertisements that correspond to them.

The full list of cookies that we may place on your devices (computers, smartphones, tablets, connected objects) is available online.

4. Third-party cookies

Our website may also contain third-party cookies.

We ensure that these cookies are managed properly by third-party services, but we cannot be held responsible for them.

5. Retention period

We comply with the requirements set by the CNIL regarding data retention periods.

Technical or essential cookies are stored for the duration necessary for the provision and proper operation of the service.

Regarding audience measurement cookies, their lifespan does not exceed 13 months. As for the information collected through these trackers, it is kept for 25 months.

Other cookies are stored for a period reasonably necessary for the purposes for which they are used. The validity of the consent given will not exceed 13 months.

6. Consent and exemption

According to the CNIL guidelines, a distinction must be made between cookies which require prior consent and those which fall under the exemption regime.

Cookies that require your prior consent are advertising cookies and audience measurement cookies that are not exempt from consent.

Technical cookies and certain cookies related to audience measurement fall under the exemption regime.

Regarding audience measurement cookies that are exempt from consent, you can exercise your right to object.

Regarding the collection of consent and the management of the right to object, we use a Consent Management Platform (“CMP”) or consent management platform.

You can easily manage the activation or deactivation of our cookies from the CMP, excluding technical cookies which are and remain necessary for the proper functioning of our services.
