Access: From Remiremont, head towards Val-d'Ajol. In Faymont, before the sawmill, turn right. Parking: 100m from the “Cascade de Faymont” sign Distance: 9km / Duration: 3 hrs / Elevation: 240 m / Markings: Blue circle 1) Start on foot from the waterfall. To the right of the torrent, a steep but well marked path quickly gains a tarmacked path. Follow it to the next crossroads. 2) Turn right. A forest path offers a steady ascent through a coniferous wood. 3) A return trip of a few tens of meters gives access to Roche Joséphine. Continue along a path to the left, narrower and more rugged than the previous one. 4) An imposing anthill was in the middle of the path when the circuit was created 20 years ago. It has strangely collapsed but another is 50m below. Just after an old farm, turn left and continue to the chapel. 5) At the chapel, take the path on the left leading to a house then continuing under the foliage of a small wood. Cross the small paved road and take the direction of Prébosson opposite. In the center of the hamlet, take the paved road on the left. 6) Enter the forest again via a dirt road. The path crosses a cultivated area just before beginning the descent after the Croix du Remoiriot. 7) Cross a paved road to follow the forest track pulling to the left. It leads via a steep descent to the small waterfall road. Go back up if necessary to the car park.
