Located 6 km from Remiremont, the village takes its name from the patron saint of the parish, the Colombanist monk Saint Amé, who founded the monastery of St-Mont with Saint Romaric.

A little bit of history

Cradle of the powerful abbey of Remiremont, the St-Mont would have been built on the ruins of a Gallo-Roman oppidum.
