The Andouilles Fair
A party to celebrate traditions
Fixed to the 3rd Monday of February by an ordinance of Louis Philippe in 1831, the Andouilles Fair of Val-d'Ajol owes its name to a prefectural decree dating from 1966, and it is selected among the 100 Remarkable Taste sites. At the time, it was an important cattle fair and all the peasants in the area filled their haversacks with the last andouilles smoked over the hearth. If the cattle have disappeared, the star pork of the month of February has remained, and around it have developed brotherhoods, inductions, a flea market, a book fair and a gourmet market.
The 2026 edition of the Foire aux Andouilles will take place from Saturday 14 to Monday 16 February.

Venice invites itself to Remiremont
Since 1996, Venice invites itself to Remiremont on the 3rd weekend of March. For 4 days, the Féérie Vénitienne (from Thursday evening to Sunday) invades the streets and squares of the city with its costumes! Street orchestras, sound, sound and light, everything is staged in the city so that the costumed expose themselves to the gaze of amazed visitors. The atmosphere is made up of dreams, smiles, elegance, sweetness... But beware, the costumed don't talk! In Remiremont, silence is golden.
The 2026 edition of the Remiremont Venetian Carnival will take place from Thursday March 26 to Sunday March 29.

Season launch at the hiking house
Celebrate the season launch with us in Val-d'Ajol!
In 2022, the Remiremont-Plombières tourist office in Val-d'Ajol became the Maison de la randonnée. Every year in spring, a festive day is organized there to launch the season! On the program: conferences and exhibitions, workshops for children... and guided hikes of course!

In May 2025, the Vosges Secrètes Mountain Bike Stadium hosted a round of the French XCO Mountain Bike Cup as well as the French Electric Mountain Bike Championship, on the same weekend. This large-scale event brought together more than 1,500 riders and over 10,000 visitors to a venue unanimously praised by the participants!

Terroir & traditions in Girmont
The Gimont-Val-d'Ajol night markets are among the major events of the summer. Organized by the market association, they span 10 weekends and offer a rich program with a different theme every Friday from 18 p.m. to 21 p.m. A must-see local and artisanal market with its exclusively local products and demonstrations of know-how, they have become the gathering place for lovers of authenticity. Local producers and artisans come to present to the public their fruits, jewelry, honey, manufactured objects, doughnuts, charcuterie, juices, etc. The event brings together hundreds of local visitors or vacationers every weekend.
The night markets take place over 10 summer Fridays each year, starting on the last Friday in June.

The Infernal Trail of the Vosges
Excel in Saint-Nabord
Created in 2009, the Infernal Trail des Vosges is not just a simple competition. Beyond the personal challenge and the desire to excel, there are also values such as sharing, exchange, conviviality and emotion. With its 650 volunteers, 5 runners and more than 000 partners, the event has become an unforgettable experience for participants and visitors. The sporting events that follow one another over 60 days: 4 trails (6km, 200km, 130km, 70km, 30km and 15km at night) and 8 obstacle runs (2km and 8km for children), make it a unique event in France. The next editions still promise incredible projects.
