Patricia, 53 years old, native of Épinal… even if I have only lived in Val-d'Ajol for about thirty years, I consider myself a local. A recent member of the Bienvenuteurs club, I took pleasure in writing you a few lines.

I love spending time along the Route des Crêtes. But the Vosges is not just about the Hohneck or other famous balloons, even if these mountains are magnificent. The Vosges is teeming with different and beautiful places… like the Val-d'Ajol valley.

My territory? The Val-d'Ajol… it's not for nothing that I told you about other magnificent places in the Vosges. And it's especially about this village that I'm going to dwell on, I'll let other ambassadors talk about our neighboring regions.
At home, it's more the hikes, the "good food" and the many events that take place there that make me like it.

There was a time when I loved hiking, our village is full of hiking trails, from where we can admire magnificent waterfalls, or others. We are lucky to have a Maison de la Randonnée (tourist office), opened a few years ago, where we can find all the information and articles concerning this activity.

For those who are already there, no need to travel miles to find restaurants that offer good local products.
