A passion for mountain biking and the Vosges nature

“Mountain biking is a passion for me. It is a sport with the search for sensations. But it is also a means of travel and discovery to explore our magnificent forests and incredible nature. » says Rémy.
“I was lucky enough to be able to ride all over the world. And finally the best spot is always to come home to Les Vosges, more particularly to the Vosges Secrètes sector. The mountain format is ideal for mountain biking and even cycling in all its forms! The network of roads and paths is enormous and the diversity of landscapes is just incredible: impossible to get bored even after years, there are so many trails to ride and so many things to discover…”

Mountain bike trails to discover in Val-d'Ajol

By guiding your mountain bike on our paths, you will ride in the footsteps of Rémy Absalon! For you, he went on reconnaissance on the AC7 and AC8 circuits of our Rando / VTT map.

The AC7 circuit is a "rolling and easy ride around Val-d'Ajol and the La Combeauté river". With its 6km and 40m of elevation gain, it is perfect for cycling through nature, without too much difficulty.

The AC8 circuit, with a distance of 25km for 580m of elevation gain, is reserved for more experienced mountain bikers. “It goes around Val-d'Ajol, on both sides of the La Combeauté valley, with its two difficult climbs:

  • the first, on the southern slope towards the Hôtel Enfoncé and its plateau (descent via the Faymont waterfall);
  • the second, on the north side via the Géhard waterfall, to the magnificent little village of Girmont-Val-d'Ajol, all with a panoramic view of the entire valley. »
