Charles de Bruyeres Museum
The Musée de Beaux-Arts de Remiremont, established thanks to the legacy of Charles de Bruyères, houses rich and varied collections: paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. This place explores the thousand-year history of the city with treasures such as a Carolingian agate intaglio unique in the world, Dutch and Italian paintings from the 1750th and XNUMXth centuries, and a large Art Nouveau collection with works by Émile Gallé. The museum also offers old earthenware, painted hangings from XNUMX, and reconstructions of Vosges interiors. Accessible to people with reduced mobility thanks to a lift, it is a captivating introduction to local history and heritage.
