Access: From Remiremont, take the road to Val-d'Ajol and after 2 km, turn left towards Girmont-Val-d'Ajol. Parking: Park in the large car park near the courtyard. Distance: 10 km / Duration: 3 h 30 / Elevation: 250 m / Marking: green ring. 1) Departure from the information panel located in the center of Girmont-Val-d'Ajol. For 1 km follow the small road which passes in front of the inn of Saint-Vallier (large plantation of Vosges bluets visible from the terrace). 2) Turn left and take a gently sloping path to the Corfaing ponds located on the plateau. Towards the farm, go around the last pond on the left and stay on the edge of the forest (view of the ponds). 3) Cross the road, the path still continues on the edge. Follow a new road to the right for 200m. Take a stone path on the left which enters the forest. The path follows a fence, turns at right angles and slants further to the right while descending slightly to a new road (picnic spot). 4) Cross the road and follow a passable path that goes diagonally. After the dyke of the pond (Houillon pond), turn left. Cross the dyke of a second pond in the middle of the woods and continue on the path on the right between two hedges. Take a wider path to the right. 5) Turn left after having traveled 500m, at the junction with the marked circuit n°21. Go along the Mollière pond (former peat bog). Possibility of an immediate return to the village by the paved road (unmarked). 6) Go down to the right just after a chalet and follow the edge of a forest to then cross the Géhard stream (bridge made of logs sometimes slippery or damaged by floods). Head for the bottom of the valley and embark on a very short steep climb to the right, cross a road. The path remains flat for a moment before plunging over the Géhard waterfall. 7) After visiting the waterfall, return towards the village by following the paved road for 800m then an often wet path on the left to go up the hill. Finally a last stretch of road and the bell tower of the village appears straight ahead.
