A party to celebrate traditions in Val-d'Ajol
The unmissable Andouille Fair of Val-d’Ajol returns from Saturday February 14 to Monday February 16, 2026!
Fixed on the 3rd Monday of February by an order from Louis Philippe in 1831, this fair owes its name to a prefectural decree dating from 1966. At the time, it was an important livestock fair and all the farmers in the sector filled their bags with the last andouille sausages smoked over the hearth. If the livestock have disappeared, the star pork of the month of February has remained.
On the program of the festivities: the traditional gourmet market, the competition for the best pie, a costume parade, the book fair and the literary prize, without forgetting the famous chapter of the brotherhood of Taste-Andouilles and Gandoyaux du Val-d'Ajol and its inductions.
For more information, see the official website of the Confrérie des Taste-Andouilles et Gandoyaux du Val-d’Ajol.
